Dear Elite Swimming families,

Thank you for your support and understanding throughout the past week. It has been a very challenging time for us and we truly appreciate the cooperation of all families, particularly those who were present at Pascoe Vale on Monday evening.

We are pleased that our systems have held up and no transmission has occurred through our pool to date.

Our Pascoe Vale centre has undergone a deep clean to be signed off by the Victorian Department of Health and Human Services prior to reopening on Friday the 19th of February.

Our Ascot Vale, Brunswick and Essendon pools will reopen tomorrow (18th February).

We would like to reassure you that swimming lessons are safe to resume, and this week has served as a reminder of the importance of social distancing measures we have in place:

– Remain 1.5m apart at all times
– Wear a face mask while inside our centres (we know this is difficult at times)
– Sanitise upon entering
– One parent/guardian per family, where possible
– Arrive within 5 minutes of lesson time and leave as soon as possible

In addition, our changerooms will be closed at all centres until further notice, as an added precaution.
